Get Unstuck! The Power of Emotional Fitness | The Tony Robbins Podcast

Welcome to another family edition of The Tony Robbins Podcast. In this intimate and at-home conversation, Tony Robbins, alongside his wife Sage Robbins and podcast host, Mary B., delve into a critical topic that touches us all: Mental Health. It’s a universal truth that no one escapes this life without experiencing periods of pain, loss, frustration, anxiety, sadness, and stress. While we all face our own unique challenges, there are fundamental keys that we can use to unlock and maintain a state of mental well-being, flexibility, and emotional fitness.

First, consider this: according to metastudies (studies that combine and analyze all discoverable results), only about 40% of people respond to treatments for anxiety and depression, and of those that do, they show an average of 50% improvement in their symptoms. Some studies have even shown the response rate to be as little as 33%.With this in mind, the Stanford Genetics Lab conducted a controlled study at a Tony Robbins Date with Destiny seminar to measure its effects. Of the participants that were clinically depressed before the seminar, 30 days after the event, 100% of study participants who were depressed were in remission, and their average improvement was 87.2%. No drugs, and in only 6 days of seminar participation.

At the beginning of the study, 17% of participants experienced suicidal thoughts. Thirty days after the seminar, none of the study participants reported having suicidal thoughts. Remarkably, one month after the Tony Robbins event, study participants still experienced a +50% increase in positive emotions (like satisfaction, inner strength and well-being), while also reporting a -50% decrease in negative emotions (like loneliness, anger, sadness, stress, and anxiety). In addition, they reported feeling happier and more satisfied in their relationships. Study participants saw a -38% decrease in anxiety even 11 months after the seminar while the baseline population (non-Tony Robbins Date with Destiny participants) saw a 28% increased anxiety.

Together in this episode, Tony, Sage, and Mary B., explore the critical ways to improve our emotional fitness and swiftly navigate out of any “stuck state”.  They also uncover specific mindset practices and tools to use in the moments we feel overwhelmed, stressed out, angry, or fearful.  In addition, the family explores the fascinating connection between the triad of our physiology, focus, and language plus human beings’ ultimate power move: assigning life events empowering meanings.

Listen to this genuine conversation for valuable insights and guidance to help you reclaim a state of clarity, flexibility, centeredness and well-being .  Please enjoy!
